PLAY DAY RESULTS

Hey,

It was pretty wet but we had 20 players who waded around the course yesterday. I heard #1 was virtually unplayable. The game was ONES. Congrats to the winners!

1st - Bonnie Harrington 35.5
2nd - Beth Shepard 36.5
3rd - Bonnie DeLisio 36.5

The tie was broken by regression from the hardest hole that counted.

Reminder - Whenever you play at White Oak - turn in your scorecards at the counter!! We are in the process of "rehandicapping" the holes and need 200 cards on each course to make it as accurate/reasonable as possible. I sat in on the mens meeting yesterday to redo theirs and it was interesting.

I THINK we play Summergrove next week and the game will be Low Gross/Low Net. I am waiting for Todd or Matt to send me the schedule for the month and will forward it to you as soon as I get it. Marilyn or Louise, I sent them an email today. When you work next could you follow up on that?

Playday - tomorrow

Hey All!

Looks like we are on Seminole tomorrow and the games is ONES. That means all the holes that begin with O N E or S then subtract half your handicap. Look like the weather may skirt us and we should have a good day for golf!

See ya tomorrow and bring your calculator if you have to so that you can add your cards correctly. I got Lisa's message when I got back in town and she's right - WE REALLY NEED OT MAKE AN EFFORT to keep, add and attest the correct scores. Right now I only check the winning score cards to determine winners then Lisa at a later date enters the scores for the ringers. If scorecards continue to be "errored" we may have to change this process. I sure hope we don't!

Well, the weather turned out great didn't it? That'll teach ya to listen to that Chesley and those other guys.

The tournament was great fun too! It is so much fun playing with the guys and I think they enjoy it too. I know they enjoy our breakfasts. Nobody can touch us on that count! The Easter eggs were great Mary C. - what a good idea!

Just so you know I have been working on playday non stop since I got home. PLEASE fire me!
All scores through today are posted for tomorrows GHIN update.

For last week - 4/7/11 - LOW NET game

1st - Shirley Payne - net 72

also with net 74 was Janis Randolph - that regression thing again!

TODAYS game - Net Best Ball of the twosome

1st - Beth Shepard and Lyn Cunningham - net 60

3rd - Mary Carlson and Susan Clonts - net 62

There was a scorecard turned in with a lower net score however there were 4 errors on the Net BB and the card was not attested. Sorry but that means DQ. PLEASE ya'll, be careful and check your cards and scores! And be sure if someone else is keeping your score that you keep it too and verify it's correctness. I really hate being the bad guy but fair is fair.

Hosting Senior Men - Heads Up - April 21st

Hey Gang

NEXT THURSDAY we host the Senior Men. With some of us being gone last week this kinda snuck up on me! I talked to Dave Furlong and right now they have 20 signed up. I bet there will be more! I will have a sign up sheet for us tomorrow. If you are not going to be there in the morning to sign up but you want to play please send me an email.

Also, a reminder - tomorrow is guest day! We will be playing some kind of Best Ball format - most likely best net ball of the 3some - assuming we get to play 3-somes tomorrow.

FYI - the clinic put on this morning by Patty, Todd and Matt was just awesome. We worked on our short game. Friday they are doing one on the long game. Sign up at the clubhouse or call the pro shop if you want to participate. I think it was $20 well spent! Look for more to come.

HEY GANG!

There has been some confusion about where we are playing this week. The rotation schedule that I was given said we play Summergrove - that's what is on my calendar too and that is what Todd sent me on April 5th - BUT apparently that was changed and WE ARE PLAYING SEMINOLE this week. So - be at White Oak NOT at Summergrove by 8:45.

I have not sent out last weeks winners yet so be patient. You will likely get both at the same time.

Fwd: Ringer Tournament for WOLGA

Hello Ladies:

It's time for us to start thinking about our first Ringer Tournament. The

dates are May 11/12. The cost is $15. I really hope everyone will consider

playing. The more we have the more flights we can have. The more flights,

the better the odds to win.

As with Match Play (and because it is early in the season) I will not be

requiring any more than you being a member in good standing with WOLGA.

I am out of town this week but Marilyn will be signing up on Thursday. You
