RINGER TOURNAMENT

We have 44 ladies signed up for the Ringer Tournament on Thursday. Please drop off your clubs no later than 9:15 and check in by the range where the carts are set up for us. There will be someone there to help with your bags. We will have a short meeting to go over rules at 9:30 and head out about 9:45. (Hopefully we will be able to get a photo of the group for the blog) Please plan to stay after and enjoy lunch on your own and dessert provided to you by Linda Brown and Janis Turner. If you have not paid your $10.00 entry fee, please bring the exact change. There will be 7 flights with a 1st $40.00, and 2nd $20.00 paid out in each flight and 1 overall winner $80.00.

If you are not already signed up for the tournament, there will not be a regular play day.

Women's Golf Day at Eagle's Landing Country Club

The Women's Golf Association at Eagle's Landing will be hosting a ladies playday on Tuesday, May 5th.

This is an excellent way for the Club Corp members to have some fun at a different course and get to know each other.  

The hope is to start a WGA ClubCorp specific playday and that this event grows and possibly rotates around the courses in Atlanta.

We had 17 ladies play Old Course today with cart path only.

Ladies, if you haven't played Old Course in the past week you are missing a treat.  These native azaleas are in full bloom behind our member Barbara North's home on hole #6.  They are a magnificent orange color.
The 50/50 went to Margaret Lauer.

Rain, rain, go away!  

Congrats to Ardy Durden for two things... playing well at last week's playday and as a result winning the Pick A Pro to win the Masters.  She had a Net 76 and added to Rory McIlroy's Sunday score of 66, she won $77.00.  

Start thinking about your picks for the Ladies U.S. Open to be held in July. 

We will be on weather watch this Thursday, again.  We are scheduled to be on Old Course.   Format is Odd/Even holes.  

BE ON TIME!  ARRIVING EARLY IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN BEING LATE!!! 

April 9th- Masters Week

It was a beautiful day for golf and 39 ladies came out for our Pick a Pro to win the Master's.

We had two ladies who earned their towels.  Linda Brown hit a beautiful pitch up to the green on #7, hit the flag stick to fall in.  (Blogger witnessed this cool shot)  Susan Gillespie earned our second to last birdie towel.

Recent chip in towel winners

It was a Red Letter Day for our Wolga President!  Margaret had a special 65th birthday and we were lucky enough to celebrate it with her!  Thanks to her buddy, Janis, for making a delicious chocolate cake to share with the 24 ladies who came out today. 

It was a little soggy on the course with 'cart path only' rules in effect.
