Good News and More

We love to share good news! Lisa Jones's niece had another great track and field season with LSU.

Unfortunately with the good news we have to report some sad news.   Please keep the following Wolga members families in your prayers:
Joan Land lost her brother on Friday.
Trish Nease's husband, Ronnie, is back in the Fayette/Newnan hospital with pneumonia.   He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.
Ruth Routsong's brother-in-law, Russ's brother passed away last Wednesday.  Services were held in Michigan.

If anyone has Shirley Payne's new email address please email Lanelle or Beth.

Good luck to the Wolga members who will be playing at Newnan Country Club for West Georgia Ladies Golf Association!  This is on Tuesday, the 19th.

Play Day on the 21st is Throw out the Worst 3 Holes.

May News

The Georgia Senior Women's Golf Association was well attended by ladies in our organization.  We do not have all the results available yet but several of our ladies placed in the top 4 in their flight.  Pictures from the dinner will be posted soon.

Pictured above is a perfect example of how Seniors is a time to catch up with long time friends.  Thanks for sharing, Kathy Fisher.
Way to go ladies!  Carol Head got a birdie towel and Ardy Durden and Judy Mead got their chip in towels. I heard that Lanelle Heminger got an Eagle!  Wow!  Look forward to hearing about it.

Congrats to Lisa Jones who is the only lady who participates in the Thursday evening SKINS game.  She had the only skin to hold up and won big bucks.
