July 28- Cat Fight

We had 30 ladies come out today for a good old fashion Cat Fight.  Here are the results:

1st Place-Lynda Young- +8
2nd Place-Carol McMeekin- +7
3rd Place- Bunny Guy- +7
Carol and Bunny tied but Carol won in regression.

50/50 was won by Margaret Lauer.

Bunny Guy won the free lesson.

We welcomed a new member, Suok Swafford.

News Flash- Hole In One!!!

 Congratulations to Anne Johnston as she makes her first 

HOLE IN ONE!!!!!

 She was playing with the Saturday morning group on Old Course playing with Arleen Carleo, Diane Tschantz and Sandi Kirkpatrick.

She achieved this milestone on #12 using a 4 hybrid to a back flag.

Way to go, Anne!

July 14- Throw Out the Worst Three Holes-

Twenty-eight ladies enjoyed Old Course today despite the heat and humidity.  The game was "Throw Out the Worst Three Holes" and that added to the enjoyment.

Sign ups are underway in the pro shop for the annual Ladies Club Championship to be held July 30-31.  Cost is $40.  There will be gross and net payout.

Today's game was "Best Nine" on Seminole.  We had 27 members, two guests, and a lovely breeze.  Bonnie Harrington, a former member and Karen Thrall, a future member were our guests today. We welcomed both and enjoyed their company.
