GSWGA Fall Team Championship

Just a heads up to all our Wolga Ladies who are members of GSWGA:
The annual fall GSWGA team championships is right around the corner. The tournament registration will be emailed this Monday, August 25. You can also print a registration form from the GSWGA website if you are a member of GSWGA but have never played before. It is very important that you send the form and entry fee as soon as possible as the tournament fills up fast. So get it out Monday and no later than Tuesday. They will have a waiting list but it does not guarantee you get bumped up to play.

Pro Picks 9

Gather all your hot weather gear, energy drinks, and shade hats as the forecast calls for temperatures in the 90's on Thursday.
We will FINALLY be back on the Old Course.  Sean or Robert will pick 9 holes and put them in an envelope for us to see when we finish our round.  We will subtract half our handicap from those 9 holes chosen.  (Last year he picked the 9 most difficult holes.)

Ladies, some of our members enjoy outdoor activities other than golf.  Check out Christine Beauchamp below:
She looks like she is a fisherwoman and enjoys kayaking... Don't let that picture fool you... She called the kayak a boat...   The first time she casted the rod out, she got the lure hung up.  Christine, stick to golf.... Tee Hee!
