Play Day Results for May 31st

Well, on this 'real' Memorial Day we had 18 ladies play the Seminole Course. Originally Memorial Day was celebrated on May 31st, but now as most holidays it has become a 'Monday' holiday and therefore not on it's original day.

We played our Chicken Fight today instead of Guest Day event.  The weather looked as if it was going to be a wash-out when in fact it did not rain a drop after midnight last night.  Guest Day will be rescheduled for a day in July.

Play Day Results for May 24th

The rain held off for our 28 players this week. Our game was Low Gross - Low Net in two flights.  Even with our par three flags moved to easier locations (according to ground crew) we had no one reach the greens on the proximity holes.  Our winners are:

                 Flight B - Low Gross - Mary Carlson 102*

Next week is guest day.  Please bring a guest.  A guest is any player that is not a member of WOLGA.  If they are not Club Corp members the guest fees in the pro-shop are $25. (includes cart)  

The game will be a 2 person best ball with strokes where they fall on the card.  We will play Seminole Course.  We have some lovely gifts for the winning team.

Play Day Results for May 17th

Rain? No Rain? .......
We had 22 ladies start the battle today on Old Course, but in Scottish tradition not all warriors came home.  We had 2 that melted in the rain shower, 1 had to turn to field triage medic, and 1 brought down by electrical shock (a PM Defibrillator not lightning bolt).

As it turns out Susan Clonts is doing fine after her SHOCK on number 14.  Susan Snowberger came onto the scene and took Susan and Margaret to the parking lot so that Margaret could take Susan to the local ER.  All is well now.

Pickleball Event Today at White Oak

White Oak Pickleball courts is

from 2-4pm! There will be hotdogs, beer, prizes and a $1.00 a ticket raffle for an Onix pickleball paddle and balls! 

The New Pickleball facility is ready for play at White Oak.  Come out today and see the new courts, win a new paddle and meet some of our Newnan/Coweta county PB players and enthusiast.

We had a lovely day to play golf on the Seminole course.  It got a little hot for SuSu, but I made it through.  We had some stellar performances today for our Chick-Fight.  DO NOT FORGET!! Tee time is now 9:30 shotgun until October.  Please be considerate and arrive before 9am to sign-in.   If you are going to be late please have a friend sign you in and pay your kitty monies.

Rules and Guidelines Update and By Laws Revision

The By Laws have been reviewed and a few minor changes have been made.  Please refer to the Constitution and By Laws Page for these changes and the attention required.

Ringer Tournament! Great Fun!

We had 42 'ready to have fun' ladies participate in the 2018 Ringer Tournament.  We had the most lovely weather and a course that would roll for miles and miles.

Each Precious Gem flight had 7 players and 3 winners per flight.  The 1st place winner in each flight also won a coveted ring to wear and flaunt in front of their peers.  Tournament chairman, Beth Shepard, presented the awards in true Tiffany form, complete with silver tray and Tiffany box.  The winners were:
