Congrats to Janis Turner in getting her 4th Hole In One over at WhiteWater on 115 yards using her 8 iron.  

Janis would also like to thank all those who made a donation to the knitting projects that went to the hospital.  The supervisor over in the NicU was very excited and so appreciative.  Please continue to create and pass on your completed projects.  If you need patterns or help knitting or crocheting Janis is happy to share her wealth of knowledge.  Thanks so much!

April 21-Low Gross/Low Net

We had 39 ladies playing on the Seminole Course today.  The game was Low Gross/Low Net and Diane Tschantz was on fire shooting a 95/59!

50/50 winners were Marta Pandy and Barb Nadreau and the free lesson with Sean was won by Arleen Carleo.

It's the beginning of spring tournaments and three of our ladies just participated in the Georgia Women's Golf Association 4 Ball competition in Jekyll Island.  Here are some of the participants from all over the state of Georgia including Susan Clonts and Beth Shepard.  For more information regarding this organization just google GWGA.  

We had eleven courageous ladies play a wet and sloppy Seminole course today!  They intrepidly survived the challenge and the day turned out to be lovely.  Best of all, we were able to throw out our worst three holes!

Next week April 21th we are back on Seminole with our Low Gross/Low Net. Our new check in system worked very well today.  Just a press of a key and Whoala! Pairings spit out instantly. 

New Check in Process begins this week

Susan Gillespie has initiated an electronic system for the ladies to help with registration; it will randomly select out playing groups.  We will meet in the front room and please be sure to sign in by 9:15.  After signing in, please move out into the larger dining room.  We will meet out back by the carts to give hole assignments at 9:30.  As with any new system, there may be some glitches that will eventually be smoothed out.

We will be on Seminole and format is "Throw Out the Worst Three Holes."

Ringer Tournament Reminders

Please arrive prior to 9:15am to find your cart assignment in the staging area, to sign in, and pay your entry fee if you haven't done so.  We also want to take a group photo.  You will have time to warm up prior to playing.  NOTICE:  We are playing 10-18 twice.
