Joan Land wants to share the date for the annual Sister Cup.

It will be Wednesday, October 21st.  You may go ahead and let Joan Land know you would like to participate by sending her an email  bjland2@att.net

New members here is a brief description of what the Sister Cup is.  

Many years ago the ladies from White Oak and ladies from Canongate decided to begin a friendly competition and named it the Sister Cup.  There is a Sister Cup trophy housed in the ladies locker room at White Oak... right now.  It will be passed on to this year's winner for the year.  

Ladies are paired up in twosomes close to their index with White Oak teams going against Canongate twosomes.  They play best ball and points are awarded to which team wins front nine, back nine and halves are awarded for a tie.  (This is a general idea how it's done)  Main thing is it is lots of fun to play and socialize with the sweet Canongate ladies.  

Usually we have more from White Oak but several of the ladies play both leagues so you may be playing against one of our own.  Just let Joan know asap.  First come first serve to play.
