Thursday playday results & June schedule

Had a pretty good turn out today - 38 players!  We played odd or evens then subtracted 1/2 our handicap.  Welcome another new member - Holly Seewald - we're glad to have you!  

1st - Carol McMeekin with 30 (And congrats on her 38 on one side!   Heard that was a personal low!) 

2nd - Barbara Nadreau with 30.5

3rd - Jennifer Pierson with 30.5  (Used regression from the hardest hole used.)

NEXT WEEK - We start our SUMMER START TIME at SUMMERGROVE and we shotgun at 9AM!  CHECK IN NO LATER than 8:30!  WE will continue to play at 9:00 for the rest of the season.

PLAYDAY RESULTS

It was a fun GUEST day and we added two new members today! Welcome Anne Johnston and Gin Miller. Gin was the guest of Carol Mc then decided to join us for real! We are glad to have you ladies! Note to you - on play days we post your score for you. Gin, I did not post your since you did not join until AFTER we played. All scores should be posted now. I just finished them.

Todays winners:

1st - Christ Campbell, Bonnie Delisio and Rose Villines with 53
2nd - Judy Furlong, Jennifer Pierson and Charlotte Myczakowski with 55
3rd - Lisa Jones, Linda Brown, Susan Clonts and Mary Carlson with 56 (Heard they would have had less if they had not had to rotate out a player each time) dang!

See y'all next week. We are on Seminole again and the game is Odds or Evens - your choice! Check in is 8:45 still next week but after that we will go to our summertime time of 9am shotgun so get ready for 8:15 check-in after Memorial day.

5/5/2011 Playday Results

We had a great day to play on Cinco de Mayo at Summergrove.  

Our game was Low Gross/Low Net.  Points will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category but $$$ will only be awarded for 1st and 2nd - $5 and $3 respectively.  This keeps us almost in budget for play day!  

Winners were:

Gross - 1st - Ellen Connors,  2nd - Cheryl Drewyer, 3rd - Margaret Lauer

Net - 1st - Jennifer Pierson, 2nd - Ardy Durden, 3rd - Judy Warner

AND Congratulations to Janis Turner on her EAGLE on Number 2!!  

The winner of our special Cinco de Mayo side pot (Net on the par 5's) was Janis Turner!  Jennifer Pierson came in 2nd.  

REMINDER - THIS WEEK IS OUR RINGER TOURNAMENT.  CONTACT LISA JONES IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP!!  It is going to be fun!  We will be playing the Old Course both Wednesday and Thursday.   There WILL NOT be a regular play day on Thursday.  If you want to play Thursday only you can join us and go off behind the tournament but there will no prize money or play day points.   Pat and I are taking the day off!
