Results for June 20th Play Day

Turned out to be a nice enough day.  We had some really good scoring today and lots of birdies and even an eagle by Joan Land on #3 the long dog leg par 5.  Good job and congrats.  See me next week for your pin and photo op.

WOW! What a lovely day.  We will not have very many more like this one in July and August.  We had 26 players today on the Seminole course.  It was a little crowded due to the Cannon Group of 84 joining us on the same course.  Welcome new member Joy Bucknall from Canongate I.

I am so happy we were able to finish our tournament.  Lot's of rain threats but we persevered.  It actually keep the temperatures down with the light mist and turned out to be a lovely afternoon.

Mystery Game Results

Our Mystery Game this month was a fun one to play.  We had a Scrambled Egg Chick Fight.  We used our points quotas for our ABCD teams.  We had some 3 Chick teams but the rotated their 4th player between them with A's on Par 5, B's on Par 4, and C's on Par 3.

Overall it was a successful day and we might want to do this one again.

Our first place winners were the Pebble Beach Team with a +12.  Our consolation team of the St. Andrews group won a box golf balls provided by Scott in the pro-shop.

The final results were:

You have until midnight Monday to signup for the Handicap tournament.
The tournament will be played from the RED/PURPLE tees and all players will receive their full (no 36 cap) course handicap. Shotgun start at 9:30 and a pool party after at Bev Morris's house.  BYOB/D and $2 in the jar for food, etc.
