Final PINK OUT for October

Thanks to all of the Wolga ladies who participated in the October PINK OUT!

Results from October 24, 2013

We had 27 ladies participate today in "Throw Out the Worst 3 Holes"  and here are the results.

1st Place- Brenda Dumas with a 58
2nd Place-Ardy Durden with a 60.5


There was a tie for 3rd between Arleen Carleo and Patti Wall with a 61.  The tie was broken at the 2nd most difficult hole, Number 18, where Patti recorded a par and Arleen had a double bogey.

Believe it or not, there were no birdies today so the birdie money will carry over to the next week, our last playday. 
We had 3 chip ins.

Next week is our last organized playday for the season and it will be a Halloween "Black Cat Fight".

There is a group working on our annual "Pink Truck Tournament".  Dates are being finalized and it looks like it will be either November 11 or 13th at Summergrove.  Mike Haddick is working on our cost and it was discussed that we will add a little to the green fees/cart fee to contribute to a very worthy individual  who is battling cancer. 
Details regarding this fun and worthwhile event will be coming soon.

PINK OUT TODAY

It was a little wet on our PINK OUT but 14 ladies played anyway.  They are Shirley Hasty, Barb Nadreau,
Ruth Routsong, Salme Svensson, Carol McMeekin, Sandra Lancaster, Hesper Hall, Christine Beauchamp, Brenda Dumas, Barbara North, Lanelle Heminger, Margaret Lauer, and kneeling in front Janis Turner and Arleen Carleo.

Today we had 12 ladies participate in "Best Front or Back Nine".  Here are the results:

Congrats to Susan Clonts for defending her West GA Championship!  I do not have all the results from Maple Ridge but wanted to share the good news.  She shot an amazing 73.  (That was her gross score!)
