Results for October 10th

There were 32 ladies playing Seminole Thursday and it was another beautiful fall day.
Here are the results of Low Net...
1st Place-Patti Wall with a net 64
2nd Place-Jane Buck with a net 67
Of course we had a tie for 3rd between Joan Land and Barb Nadreau with a 68.  Joan broke the tie by parring #7 the most difficult hole on Seminole.  Barb had a bogey on that hole.

Pink Out

We have extended our Pink Out for the remainder playdays in October except for Halloween.  There were several ladies who were not going to be at playday on the 17th.  I will be taking pictures throughout the month for the blog and yearbook. 

Fall Festival-November 1st

 

White Oak will be hosting their annual fall festival on November 1st from 6-9pm.  Robert Collier, the assistant pro, has asked the ladies golf groups to donate candy for the trunk or treat portion of the festival.  He has also asked if any ladies would be available to help that evening. 
There will be a container at the remaining play days for the candy.  He has asked that you put your first and last name and which group you play with on the candy you bring.  This has been a very successful event that provides a safe and fun evening for our White Oak little ones and their parents.

Beat the Champ October 3, 2013

Twenty nine ladies participated in the annual 'Beat the Champ', with Susan Clonts being our champ for the second year in a row.  She shot an 82 gross and a net 74.

2013 Wolga Championship Pictures Part Two

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor and memory of all those affected by breast cancer, October 17th will be a perfect time to have a "Pink Out" on the golf course.  Find your favorite pink shirt, shorts, hat, etc. and wear it to our playday.  The format is Best Front or Back Nine. 

(In case of rain we will bump our Pink Out to the next week, October 24)
