Par 3 Team Event

This Thursday, July 23, Sean will be setting up a Par 3 course for us to play in teams.  He will be putting us in teams using our handicaps to make the teams as fair as possible.  We will need to be checked in by 9:00 sharp.  Start time will be 9:30am.  
The cost to participate is $2.00.  We will also  have our $.50 mulligans and 50/50 drawing.  The planned payout will be the 1st and 2nd place team.  (more if our numbers are high enough)
After we finish and recognize the winners you are invited to join us at the White Oak pool for a post golf cool down.

Next week Diane will be paying the pro shop for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places since the season began.  If your name was on any of the results emails and blogs you are entitled to pro shop credit.  I believe the payout is- 1st place- $5, 2nd place- $3, and 3rd place-$2.

Birthday Ace

One of our ladies had a big birthday on the 5th of July.  The next day she was treated to a Callaway Gardens golf outing with Jodie Shepard, Cheryl Drewyer, and Susan Clonts.  First hole she had a triple bogie on a par 4 on Lake View.  Next hole was a par 3, 113 yards.  This Wolga member got out her 8 iron and there it went.... bounced and rolled right into the hole!  What a great 60th birthday lucky shot!!! Not too bad for an old lady!!!

We had 28 players July 2 playing Seminole in a Throw Out the Worst 3 Holes format.
